to the Memorial Day Work Weekend at Camp Lutherhoma on May 25-28. Just call the camp (918-458-0704) to let them know how many are going to attend! Memorial Day Work Weekend is good food, good friends, good times, and a good opportunity to roll up your sleeves to get the camp ready for the summer season. The weekend is free.
is available which would enable an initiative to come before voters in the State of Oklahoma in November which would approve a change to the state constitution to define every human being, at every age, as a “person” and guarantee the inherent right to life of every person. The food pantry has been well stocked for a long time due to the many generous donations for which we are very grateful. We are just now getting low on some items. Donations of canned fruit, crackers, cereal and other breakfast items may be left in the cart or brought to the office.
Thrivent Financial will be at Claremore Nursing home for “Join Hands Day” to plant flowers with the residents on May 16th at 1:30 p.m. Anyone wishing to help with this project is welcome.
