Psalm 5:3,7,11,12

3In the morning, Lord, you hear my voice;

in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly….

7But I, by your great love, can come into your house;

in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple….

11But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy.

Spread your protection over them,

that those who love your name may rejoice in you.

12Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;

you surround them with your favor as with a shield.

     These words spoken by King David, so long ago, continue to be relevant in each of our daily lives.

     Thanks be to God for hearing and answering our prayers. In reverence to Him we offer our thanks and praise in fellowship in His house of worship. What a comfort it is to take refuge in God who protects and restores us when life challenges occur daily. Our heavenly Father judges the righteous with mercy and redemption through Jesus Christ our Savior provides redemption, and the Holy Spirit enlightens us and keeps us in the one true faith.

     We can always take comfort in knowing, as we rest through the night, that  God will renew us. And as a new day dawns, He is ever present and loves us unconditionally.
