ADULT BRAILLE MINISTRY:  Once a month (2nd Tuesday), a dedicated group of Redeemer members travel to Tulsa to assemble Braille books for the blind.  The group travels to Tulsa for their monthly work project this Tuesday, October 14 at 9:00 a.m. They would welcome others who are interested in this worthwhile mission.  They usually car pool to help with the driving expense.  Contact Lorna or Martin if you have questions and wish to be included.

THE REDEEMER LUTHERAN BUILDING COMMITTEE  has a meeting on this Tuesday, October 28 at 6 p.m. with one of the three architects chosen as finalists for consideration for providing a "master plan" for Redeemer Lutheran facilities in preparation for a building project.  It is important for all members of the building committee to be present for this meeting.

ALL SAINTS’ OBSERVANCE – Next Sunday, November 2 will be observed as All Saints’ Day, a special day to celebrate alongside fellow saints and recall those who have gone before us in the faith.  As is our tradition, on next Sunday we will be remembering members and loved ones who have entered the Church Triumphant.  You are invited to submit the names of departed saints to be named in the remembrance.  You can do this by writing down their names and submitting them today or by calling our church office with names by this Thursday (October 30).

“TRUNK OR TREAT” – You will be able to participate in this neighborhood outreach activity by backing your vehicle into a parking place near our 5th and Seminole corner on Friday, October 31 (“All Hallows Eve”) before 6 p.m. and giving out candy to children who come “trick or treating.”  Even if you are unable to be here for this fun activity, your contribution of candy for distribution by those who are here would be much appreciated!

THRIVENT MEMBERS – YOU can make a difference!  YOU can submit a simple application to Thrivent for approval, then gather a small action team to help you, and you will be given up to $250 that you use to fund an action-service project.  That’s right, Thrivent will fund the project your small team does!  Just keep your eyes and ears open for a need, but if you are looking for ideas of what YOU can do, check the list of 101 ideas posted on the bulletin board.   You may go online to read more about it and to apply:  Please ask Sharon or Cynthia for more details.
