Our library was recently given two contemporary-style fiction books by Charles Martin.


Long Way Home:

Cooper O’Conner is a talented singer/songwriter/guitarist who left his home and went to Nashville. After five tough years, Cooper lost everything. He miraculously survived being shot and left in a fire to die, but could no longer sing or play music. Cooper decided to return home, but did he find the healing reconciliation that he desired?

This story takes place in a sleepy town in Georgia. A skilled surgeon stopped practicing medicine after he couldn’t save his wife. Find out what made him return to his practice!
